Subjects: Biology 90 questions, Physics 45 questions, and Chemistry 45 questions.
Duration: 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Marking Scheme: +4 for every correct answer and -1 for every incorrect answer.

Understanding these basics will give you a clear idea of what to expect and how to manage your time during the exam.

2. Familiarize with the NEET Syllabus

The NEET syllabus is vast but well-defined. It consists of topics from classes 11 and 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Break it down as follows:

Biology: Genetics, Ecology, Human Physiology, and Plant Physiology are key areas.

Chemistry:
Organic Chemistry reactions are covered, along with Physical Chemistry calculations.
Physics: Mechanics, Electricity, Magnetism, and Optics.
Download the official NEET syllabus from the NTA website and compare it with your school curriculum to identify overlapping topics.

3. Right Study Materials

Your study resources play a crucial role in NEET preparation. Start with NCERT textbooks for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as they form the foundation of most questions. Supplement them with:

Biology: “Trueman’s Biology” or “MTG Objective NCERT at Your Fingertips”.

Chemistry: “OP Tandon” for Physical and Organic Chemistry.

Physics: “Concepts of Physics” by H.C. Verma. and for question practise  you can also use "DC pandey"
you must follow NCERT revise NCERT multiple times .

Online resources like mock tests, video tutorials, and revision guides can also be immensely helpful. here some famous online study platforms are given PW is one of the most famous  online study platform. click on pw to go to pw website . ALLEN is another best platform for NEET preparation .

Breaks: Study for 2-3 hours continuously and take 15-20 minute breaks for refreshment.

Sample Study Schedule:

Morning: Revise notes and study Biology.
