the neet syllabus is updated every year. the syllabus above given is the syllabus of NEET 2025

the most important topic are discussed here :

BIOLOGY  : The most important topic topic are given -
  1. Human physiology
  2. plant physiology
  3. Genetics
  4. cell structure and function
  5. diversity in living world
  6. reproduction
one by one all are describe

human physiology :-

human physiology is the branch of biology that deals with human body structure
in human physiology we study all body parts it divided into 6 chapter

  1. breathing and exchange of gases
  2.  body fluids and circulation
  3. excreatory products and their elimenation
  4. locomotion and movement
  5. neural control and coordination
  6. chemical coordination and integration

introduction of  Breathing and exchange of gases

  • oxygen is utilised by the organism to indirectly break down simple molecules, e.g., glucose , fatty acid amino acids, etc to drive energy to perform various activities. carbon dioxide is release during the catabolic reaction.
  • oxygen has to be continuosly provided  to the cells and carbon dioxide produced by  the cells have to be released out. simply the process of intake of fresh air(oxygen from atmosphere) and removal of foul air (carbon di oxide produced by he cells) from the body is called breathing .

respiration :- "the exchange of enviromental oxygen with the carbon dioxide produced in the cell during oxidation of food .

HUMAN RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

  • a pair of nostrils open out above the upper lips it leads to a nasal chamber through the nasal passage . the nasal chamber opens into pharynx ,(common path for both food and air). the pharynx open into larynx through a slit appratus , the glottis .
  • during swallowing ,glottis gets covered by a thin elastic cartilaginous flap called epiglottis to prevent entry of food into the larynx . larynx is a cartilaginous box which help in sound production . hence it is called sound box .
